Hi there, Im Mike Mignola and I am the Script Writer of Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. My job in helping to create this amazing movie was to rewrite my comic book of Hellboy into a script for the movie.  I also had to think about what would work best with getting the storyline from the comics and putting it onto the big screen.

 I am so lucky to be able to write the script for Hellboy. As you may know, I am the writer of the well known Hellboy comic books. I have been writing comics and scripts for as long as I can remember, and I have written nearly all of the scripts for my comic books turned movies. For Hellboy I wrote 10 volumes and over 150 issues. All of these issues have been put into the script I am writing for The Hellboy 2 movie.

I think the audience for Hellboy would be for adults and teens aged from about 13+. They would enjoy Hellboy because the script is not to difficult too understand. If they have seen the first movie, they would obviously understand the second one more but they would still be able to understand Hellboy 2 even if they haven't seen the first one or read the comics. Hellboy 2 is filled with comedy, action, romance and adventure. Anyone who likes any of those genres would love this movie.

The main thing I love about my job is to be able to use my creativity and imagination everyday. I use them to write scripts create comic books or help to make a movie like a am right now with Hellboy. There is only one thing I dislike about my job, which is working too hard one one small part of the script. Sometimes on a good day I can write pages and pages of great scripts but on other days I get stuck in one part trying to decide how to make that part the best I can possibly make it.

I hope that when Hellboy 2: The Golden Army comes out, you will have as much fun watching it as I did writing it. Ok, I guess I better go keep writing the script if I want to eventually finish it. See you later, Mike Mignola.
