Hello Guys, I am the director of Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, Guillermo Del Toro. To hep create a wonderful movie my job is to organise the crew and tell the cast where to go, to make sure the props are put in the right places, and to make the thought of making a hellboy movie come true. Because I have the main creative job I have to think about how our crew should present the movie, what props to use, where to film it, how will we get the equipment needed and how we will make the scenery we need to make the movie more believable.

I love being the director of films because you can be in charge of the things you love, like using props and making the movie in general. It is a lot of fun and very exciting because you never know what will happen next, for example you might need to tell the script writers to change the script a little bit or tell the costume designer to adjust the costume to fit the character more realistically.

The part of my job which gets a little boring is the research about how the movie should be done like reading comic after comic trying to figure out the scenery or what the costumes need to look like. I like to actually film the movie and make small changes along the way, not make all the changes before we start filming. I also don't like having such long hours to work because it gets very tiring and stressful because there is so much to work out.

I personally would think that anyone who likes a movie with a lot of action in it would like Hellboy 2 : The Golden Army. It obviously has a lot of action which I love and would expect thousands of others to love as well.

Sammy Sheldon - Costume Designer

Hey Guys, I am Sammy Sheldon but you might know me better as the Costume Designer of Hellboy 2. My job in making Hellboy come to life is to research on what the characters look like, design the costumes and make them as best as I can for all of the characters to make them look real.

I absolutely love my job. I get to do what I love everyday. My passion is making clothes and I picked do make a career out of it as a costume designer for movies! It is really cool researching and reading the comics of Hellboy to try and find out what all of the characters look like Now that is what i like about my job but what I don't really like about my job is finding out what sizes the actors are. Sometimes, I can accidentally make the wrong size and it wont fit them, then I have to make a whole new outfit which is very annoying.

There was some on set problems with my costume which I made for Ron Perlman who played Hellboy. The problems was with his tail, he was on set and the cameras were rolling and he started walking and tripped over his tail! It was really funny and all the cast and crew were laughing a lot! As the tail was made out of rubber, and when Ron Perlman tripped on it, it squashed and I had to make a completely knew tail for the costume. which was a little bit unfair as I worked hard on the costume but at least it was quite funny to watch.

When I see the completed movie, I will most probably be amazed at what me and the other cast and crew created and I hope you see what we see and I hope you enjoy the movie as much as I know I will. I better go finish making Hellboy's tail again!

Jeremy Zimmerman - Casting Director

Hey, my name's Jeremy Zimmerman and I am the casting director of Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. To complete my job I have to try and find the perfect actors to play the characters in the movie.To find the right actors, I need to see the auditions first. I come in at about 7am to set up the audition room and prepare for the hopeful actors to come in and show off their skills.

The things that I mostly love about my job is seeing so many great actors everyday saying no to hundreds of amazing actors everyday. When I first got chosen to be the casting director for Hellboy, I never thought that so many great actors would want to try out for the roles in Hellboy. Especially for the role of Hellboy himself, there were over 400 men who wanted to be chosen as Hellboy but I could only pick one person. As soon as I saw Ron Perlman, who now plays the role of Hellboy, I knew he would be perfect for the role. He had everything, a great voice, the right look for Hellboy and his face looked exactly the same as what I wanted the actor to look like. I wish I could let everyone be in the movies I am the casting director for but I just can't.

There were a lot of problems casting the smaller roles like Prince Nuada and Princess Nuala because I needed. to find people that looked like what I wanted the characters for the movie. I just couldn't decide who to pick. There were about 20 fantastic auditions and I didn't know at all who I was going to choose for the roles. I eventually cut it down to 5 then I looked deeper into the script and tried to think of who I should pick as the characters. I then, after days of restless thinking, decided on who I should pick. I picked Luke Goss as Prince Nuada and Anna Walton as Princess Nuala.

I really think that absolutely anyone could enjoy or even love Hellboy 2: The Golden Army because it has so much action, adventure and amazing talent. I would recommend Hellboy 2 to anyone who loves a good action movie with lots of fighting scenes, comedy and adventure.

Mike Mignola - Script Writer

Hi there, Im Mike Mignola and I am the Script Writer of Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. My job in helping to create this amazing movie was to rewrite my comic book of Hellboy into a script for the movie.  I also had to think about what would work best with getting the storyline from the comics and putting it onto the big screen.

 I am so lucky to be able to write the script for Hellboy. As you may know, I am the writer of the well known Hellboy comic books. I have been writing comics and scripts for as long as I can remember, and I have written nearly all of the scripts for my comic books turned movies. For Hellboy I wrote 10 volumes and over 150 issues. All of these issues have been put into the script I am writing for The Hellboy 2 movie.

I think the audience for Hellboy would be for adults and teens aged from about 13+. They would enjoy Hellboy because the script is not to difficult too understand. If they have seen the first movie, they would obviously understand the second one more but they would still be able to understand Hellboy 2 even if they haven't seen the first one or read the comics. Hellboy 2 is filled with comedy, action, romance and adventure. Anyone who likes any of those genres would love this movie.

The main thing I love about my job is to be able to use my creativity and imagination everyday. I use them to write scripts create comic books or help to make a movie like a am right now with Hellboy. There is only one thing I dislike about my job, which is working too hard one one small part of the script. Sometimes on a good day I can write pages and pages of great scripts but on other days I get stuck in one part trying to decide how to make that part the best I can possibly make it.

I hope that when Hellboy 2: The Golden Army comes out, you will have as much fun watching it as I did writing it. Ok, I guess I better go keep writing the script if I want to eventually finish it. See you later, Mike Mignola.

Hello, I'm Lawrence Gordon and I have just arrived home from my office in which i was organising the costs for the costumes in Hellboy. My job in Hellboy 2 is to deal with the costs for everything, collect ideas for the movie and organise all components of the movie. I also have to get all of the crew to work together.

It is quite hard to work out how much money to use for each component of the movie because at the end, if I have used too much money for other things, I will not have enough and Hellboy 2 will not be completed. So looking after the cost and saving money for everything is up to me!

Every morning, I go to my office with all my co workers and start to organise the money, get ideas and organise the important parts of my work like jobs for the crew and filming schedules. 

In my job the things I like to do are organise everything for the movies as I have produced over 19 movies in my lifetime. I also like working with the many new and different people I get to meet while working. In my job I have met so many funny and friendly people and some of them I still keep in touch with. The actors in Hellboy have been so cooperative with everyone in the cast and crew.

The only bad thing about being the producer is each time I produce a movie, it takes so long to do everything and I work very long hours so I get really tired. The other bad thing is, that I have so much to do and it sometimes gets really stressful and I have no time to do anything else.

I guess its time to go and do some more work now, Bye !

Ron Perlman - Superhero Actor

Hi, my name is Ron Perlman and I have just gotten home from filming on the set of Hellboy 2. I am glad to be home but filming is also a lot of fun. I play the character of Hellboy in Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. My job in Hellboy 2 was to play the superhero in the movie and to defeat the nemesis who was Prince Nuada played by Luke Goss.

I loved my job as playing Hellboy because it is exciting getting into costume and acting like another creature. The filming of Hellboy 2 was from around 12pm-12am. To get all my make up and costumes on, I had to arrive 4 hours earlier than all of the other crew because it took that long to get into character. After each day of filming, I get exhausted because day after day we are filming nonstop. But because I love my job as an actor so much it doesn't feel like I am working at something I don't want to do. I also loved filming Hellboy 2 because I got to travel to some amazing places like Budapest, Ireland, England and Hungary.

My definite favourite part of Hellboy 2 is the fight between Prince Nuada and Hellboy. There is so much action and tension between them and you can tell that they can't stand each other.

I think anyone who has seen the first Hellboy would love this sequel. It has great action, adventure, special effects and great settings.

Now its time for me to go and get my make up and costumes put on. I better go, Bye!
